Three Free Mobile Apps for your Health
Whether we like it or not, we’re living in a technological age. In fact, many people have to make a point to pull themselves away from their computer, TV and/or phone for just a couple hours every day. When it comes to your health, though, saying yes to technology can be a good thing! It may significantly free up your time and help you stay fit. Download these free mobile apps below and give them a try!
Calorie Counter MyFitnessPal – If you want to hone in on your nutrition, this is the app for you! Yes, MyFitnessPal will serve as a glorified calorie counter, but it can also provide you with your daily nutrition facts. MapMyRun –I tend to run without a clear path in mind, meandering around my neighborhood without quite knowing how far I’ve gone. MapMyRun to the rescue! This mobile app not only tracks your course and mileage, it also tells you your average pace, time and calorie count. If you care to share your progress with friends, you have the option to upload your run onto Facebook or Twitter.
First Aid App – Health isn’t just about fitness; it’s also about making sure you know just what to do when faced with a physical injury or emergency. In situations like a heart attack, poisoning, or severe lesion, sometimes we can’t rely on our memories to give us the most quick and clear information. Fortunately, the First Aid App does the work for you – complete with a very extensive list of first aid dos and don’ts. If only we could reach into our phones for gauze and ointment…
