If you aren’t already moisturizing your face and body, this is definitely the time to learn how. This winter, find an ointment or cream that is oil based – a night cream may be a good option. This will add a protective layer on the skin, enabling your body to retain moisture rather than lose it to dry air. Another idea for protecting your skin this winter is to add a humidifier to your home space. This will increase moisture content in the air, preventing your skin from drying out or feeling tight. As an added plus, the additional moisture in the air can protect your airways and nose from getting too dried out as well.
Next, look into utilizing the healing, moisturizing, rejuvenating powers of natural ingredients such as raw honey, olive oil, and more!
